Machining eyewear frames

Beyond ordinary pocket machining, SMP cuts free-form surfaces smoothly in any direction.

Toolpaths for mass production of frames

SMP offers toolpaths proven in mass production of acetate eyewear frames, in a wide variety. About 10 eyewear companies in Fukui, Japan use it.

Fukui prefecture is a center of Japan's eyewear industry, and we are a Fukui company that adapts to the shop floor.

CAD, CAM and digital twin

  1. CAD

Use your Rhinoceros 8 3D surface data directly as the source for machining.

  2. CAM

Create toolpaths and generate G-code for your machine. A 2.5-axis pocket and simultaneous 6-axis buffing use the same operations.

  3. Digital twin

Verify the machine's motion on the computer before running the real machine.
